Here I go...

I am here at Kansas City International airport watching the sunrise, waiting for my plane to begin boarding, and taking advantage of the airports free wireless internet. Although I'm getting closer, I'm still far from fully realizing the fact that I'm going to be living half-way around the world from everyone I know.

I said my final goodbyes last night--well most of them. I'm going to try to fit a few in during my three-hour layover in Atlanta. I feel right now, I'm right on the edge of the future and that I'm stepping into the unknown...
